HandiWrite Software Overview:
HandiWrite is Handicomp's communication and data export program. It allows staff
to create address labels and postcards through interfaces with many of the other
Handicomp modules. It also allows you to export data for import into graphical information
management packages such as word processors, spreadsheet programs, and database
programs.
What the HandiWrite Module can do for you:
The HandiWrite module provides sorting for the selective printing of address
labels, postcards, and membership cards:
- Selectively access and print any of the addresses of each member.
- Selectively print addresses in order of member number, member name (alphabetically),
zip code, and gender.
- Print an entire group, a range within a group, or selected people within a group.
- Selectively print by special descriptive categories within each file.
- Selectively print by age, membership longevity, anniversary, amount spent, or amount
owed (dunning letter).
The HandiWrite module allows integration with the following Handicomp files
for printing of address labels, postcards, and membership cards:
- Club Membership file
- Golf Handicap file
- Payroll Employee file
- Pro Shop Membership file
- Accounts Payable file
The HandiWrite module provides for exporting of data to third party word processors,
spreadsheets, and databases:
- Club Receivables Member Data
- Accounts Payable Vendor Data

Membership Files Interfaces

Communication, communication, communication. Without question the most important
service that can be provided to any membership is greatly enhanced with many of
the membership interface connections offered by HandiWrite.

Sorting
|
Sort by member, address, zip, etc. The sorting features are geared to save time
and money when sending bulk mailings by only selecting the target members or customers
that are desired.

Maintain Additional Address File

Create an additional address file to keep in communication with association members
and special contacts; keep Christmas lists, etc.

Dunning Letter
|
Save time and improve efficiency by automating the posting to the General Ledger
module.

Vendor Status Inquiry

The HandiWrite module actually reaches into the Handicomp Club Receivables and Pro
Shop Retail files and passes the past due amounts into an export file for printing
in a third party word processing package.
