General Ledger Software Overview:


Handicomp's General Ledger module allows for the determination of the club or pro shop's financial position and it's period by period performance with ease. The General Ledger module can exist as a stand alone system or can be integrated with additional Handicomp accounting software modules to address all of the financial reporting and statement generation needs.

What the General Ledger Module can do for you:


The General Ledger module allows for entering general ledger postings directly into the system:
  • Postings may be grouped into journals: Cash Receipts, Cash Disbursements, Payroll, etc.
  • Standard entries may be entered automatically on a periodic basis.
  • Batch totals and audit trails are provided for verification of entered data.

The General Ledger module provides financial statements on a demand basis: 

  • Produce consolidated and comparative balance sheets.
  • Produce budgeted, departmental, consolidated, and, comparative income statements.
  • Multiple schedules may be specified for all financial statements.
  • Produce a Statement of Cash Flow.
  • Fiscal period history is automatically saved for up to 10 years for comparative financial statements. 

The General Ledger module allows flexible formatting of financial statements:

  • Specify formats, page headings, titles, and totals, or, use the Automatic Format feature.
  • Accumulate multiple account totals for single line statement presentation.
  • User definable chart of accounts allows four digit account numbers, two digit sub-accounts, and, two digit department numbers.
  • Consolidate up to 99 different companies information into a single statement.
